Default Springfield XD 45 jammed

I have only put about 200-250 rounds through this gun and now it is jammed and I cannot clear it. Any help or tips would be appreciated. I know that in the manual that it says to take it to a gunsmith, but I figured that I would run this by you guys and see if there is anything that "I" can do before I have to plop my own coin down on having a gunsmith do something that I could have done. I was shooting some fmj rn bullets, reloads. I have shot about 400 of this same batch up to this point without an issue.

Point in safe direction, remove magazine, retract slide fully to rear, lock slide back, remove case/round that's causing the problem. Now check it to determine the problem as it is highly likely the problem. It's EXTREMELY RARE for XDs to malfunction like that. Try using a different magazine and see if it does the same thing. Please give us more detailed information so that we may help you better. Are they reloads? Is the taper crimp adjusted properly? You do realize rimless pistol ammo headspaces on the case mouth so it's MANDATORY such ammo is crimped properly.

Yeah, I stated in the post that they are fmj rn reloads. I got to looking and it appears that the gun double loaded. As in two rounds are trying to feed. One already in the chamber and one in the loading ramp. So I cannot even pull the slide back to clear the action.

We could help a LOT more if you had pictures. I'm POSITIVE I could clear it in a heartbeat, but can't say how without looking at it or holding it. I don't understand why you can't push the 2nd round back and/or down with a screwdriver or even back into the magazine, then lock the slide back and clear it.

http://www.xdtalk.com/forums/ Has a few stickies on clearing jams, don't know if the exact jam you got on your hands.
Can you remove the magazine? Might have to push up on base of mag. to release some tension then push mag release button.
Any chance at pics? Have you called SA ?
Regards,

I got it cleared. Thanks for the link to that sight jaw3, that sticky helped me in getting the slide to move enough to clear the shell that was stuck in the chamber.
