Default Remington gets the nod

I posted a while back asking about the winchester 70 steath, was all set to get one in a 22-250. Prarie dogs beware!! I waited four and a half months and still no word from winchester when they may be available again? [:@] Four and a half months was plenty. Yesterday I ordered a remington vs 22-250, leupold vxII 6-18 with target knobs and a harris swivel bipod. I only own winchester and ruger rifles but I bet I won' t be disappointed with this baby. Winchester should get their act together, I can' t beleive they have that much of a backlog that it takes half a year to get a gun? From what my dealer tells me, he has had a lot of trouble with wichester this past year? Oh well doesn' t matter now, the dogs aren' t going to care!

That' s interseting. A friend of mine spent over 3 months trying to locate a Browning BPS with a wooden stock and 28" barrel. After visiting about 20 different shops, none of which could get their hands on one, he found a chain store that found one in another store 3 states away and had it shipped in.[:@]

Winchester just happens to be really popular right now. It' s been four months for me now as well and I' m waiting on Winchester' s new 300 WSM in ultimate shadow mossy oak camo that I have on order. It' ll be worth the wait.
