Default Ithaca 37 Featherlight

Are there any fans of the Ithaca Model 37 Featherlights here. I bought my first one back in the early 70's for about $125.00. It was a 12ga, 30" full choke and the only pump shotgun I've ever owned for years. I couldn't begin to count all the rabbits, squirrels, crows and dove that I've taken with this gun over the years. In my opinion this is one of the best pump shotguns made. Oh yeah, also one of the few pump guns that works well for left handers as well as right handers. I recently purchased one each in a 16ga and 20ga and both are older that my 12ga and in better shape.

I have a Model 37 in 20 gauge and I like it very much. Durable. I do need a new barrel for it though so any info on that would be great.

I also have a model 37 in 20ga. Very nice shotgun....don't shoot it much anymore though, just sits in the safe.

Loved those Ithaca Deerslayers. Early accuracy for a Foster type slug thrower.

I have a safe full of Ithaca's. Everything from turkey guns, to slug guns, to upland guns.

savage.17; You can buy a new barrel direct from Ithaca. If yours has a serial # over 855,000 then it is interchangeable, otherwise you will have to send it in and have a new barrel fitted. Here is Ithaca's phone number 1-877-648-4222

bigj71; You looking to trade or sell that 20ga?
