Default Stalkingbear iced in

As some of you may have noted, stalkingbear has not been posting the last few days.We talked via cell phone this AM. He lives in Central Kentucky, and was hit hard by a terrible ice storm. He said that there was about 1 1/2" of ice on everything. Power lines, poles, transformers, trees were all down everywhere. He is currently without power and is getting by with kerosene heaters and Coleman stove. It will be several days or more until he can get operating as normal again. He and his family are doing OK, and he asked if I would let everyone on here know he will be back up and running ASAP.

That's good to hear. I have a friend in S. Central KY also experiencing it.

S. Central?? Wouldn't that be Bowling Green. I lived there for 5 years, and that is one great area. The winter weather there was pretty docile when I was there. However there was one nasty ice storm. I wish him good luck. Tom.

Good to hear he and his family are alright. We have have been fortunate enough not to get iced in. Just lots of snow and bitter cold.
