Default RE: Savage Fox - Opinoins Please

I have one. Mine is probably not worth what this thread says, even though it is mint. It has been chopped down to 22". I'm sure that puts a damper on the value. I bought it for a close upland gun and only paid $150 about 15 years ago. The gun shop owner was mad because he didn't take it all the way out of the case and gave full price for a shorter barrel. He sold it cheaper than he gave because he said he had to look at it every day and think about what an idiot he was. Doubles have a pretty good following, May be worth it to hang onto it for a while. They are good tight shotguns. There were a whole lot produced over the years but for what ever reason the price keeps going up.

Blessings
