Default Bersa Thunder 380???

I'm thinking of trading for one of these today. Do any of you guys have any experience with them. What do you think?

Thanks Bryan

I have its big brother the thunder 45 and I'm very please with mine. A NCSHP buddy of mine has the thunder .380 and uses it as his backup when on duty and his CC when off duty...

A couple buddies have the .380 and love em' I've shot one of them and it was very nice and reliable, shot great!

I have the Thunder 9 (actually a Firestorm Mini9 which is the same gun made by Bersa) and while it's obviously no match pistol it serves a purpose and that's light reliable easy to carry 10ft firepower.

I might still grab the .380 myself for a truck gun.

i have one, use it for CCW. It's fantastic for the price. Get a good defense round and you will have a nice little gun. It's worth the money. You can get more info at bersatalk.com

Luckydog,

I have my eye on the CC or Lite version. I have been researching these but have not fired one. I have not read anything negative except that they only come with one mag and charge a fortune for an extra. I'm going to choose between this and the LCP.

I just made the deal. I hope it shoots as good as it looks and feels.
Thanks for the help!

I have the duo tone Bersa Thunder. Great little back up pistol. Fully reliable. Read the reviews. Many consider it equal to the Walther without the price tag.

Just remember the Bersa .380s are blowback operated instead of the usual recoil operated. That means the spring will be heavier, making slide harder to rack, slide heavier, making for increased size, and more bulky.
