What do you look for in a single shot?
Price? look at the Handi
Value? I would check out a Ruger No.1
Flexibility? TC Encore!
Money no object? Dakota #10
Then you can start looking at European single shots and dig into your pocket deeply...

With the options and diversity in ctsyle, and price, it's hard to say "this one". For me, I love the Ruger #1's - have 4 of them currently. Not to say I don't wnat a nice Sharps but for my uses, the #1's are #1.

Ruger #1, any 1885 variant, Dakota 10 (truly wonderful but pricey).
