The sendero. Especially if your looking to stretch your range. They are made factory to be good LR rigs. There's still a lot you can do to them but they shoot pretty darn good right out of the box!

A lot of places don't carry them because of the cost and the fact that they won't sell as fast as other rifles, but they can probably get them for you.

I too have heard a lot of good things about the Sendero especially in the 7mm Rem Mag caliber! If you have that kind of dough to slap down then what are you waiting for?

I think it'd depend on what kind of huntingyou intend the rifle to be used for.

If you don't ever intend to walk any distances with that rifle, the Sendero II would probably be fine. However, if you think you might one day venture after elk, moose, etc. over mountains, through muskeg, you're absolutely going to hate the extra pound that rifle will weigh, not to mention the optics (just guessing that a plain-old 3-9x isn't going to do for you?). Not to mention an additional four inches (over the .30-06 M700)or two inches (for the 7mm Mag M700) of barrel you're going to be snagging on tree limbs.

For general, all-around hunting, I'd easily pick the CDL. From my experience, the Senderos are singular in purpose: a position rifle, rather than a walkaround rifle.
