Default H&R Pardner

I have some christmas money. I can get this for about $120. Anybody have any experience with the H&R shotguns? I have several 12 gauges and a 16 already. So I think I will get the .20 ga. But whats your guys opinions? I have an old one from my grandpa, he carried it for years and I still take it out some, seems like a good gun, are these of the same quality?

Default RE: H&R Pardner

I have one in 20ga, it is the first gun I paid money for. My brother bought it around 1990 at K-Mart for like $90 new then I gavehim $50 about 2 years later for it.It is a good little gun. Despite years of less than perfect care asteenagers using it, the blueing is still first rate. I haven't used it in about 12 years, but I still like to get it out of the cabinet and clean it up a few times a year. Not sure if the new ones are the same quality. I bought a Pardner pump Turkey gun that I had to special order from wal-mart about 3 years ago and it has "made in china" stamped on the reciever. It is a very good heavy built gun, but I would have bought a Mossberg had I known where the reciever was made. I bought it based of the quality of my old 20 gauge single shot.
