Since you already have the scope -- I' d say you' ve made a great choice and it ought to serve you well. I' m a leupold man myself.

Bushell or otherwise, always a good idea to have a back up rifle (all sighted in) waiting back in camp in case something goes wrong.

Perfect deer/sheep/goat/pronghorn/black bear/hog rig that can do double duty as an elk and moose rifle if you need it to. Because of the mild recoil and awesome sectional density/penetrating ability of 6.5mm bullets, it is probably one of the best all-around choices you can make! [:-]

Shoot 120-125gr (the 125gr Nosler Partition is lethal) bullets for most of the light stuff, and jump up to a 140gr premium bullet for havier game such as elk or moose. I guarantee you it will spell lights out for any big game animal mentioned here! [X(]
