Default A-Bolt vs A-Bolt Micro

Hi, I was looking for a rifle to get my son for a xmas/birthday present. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the A-Bolt micro's. He's pretty set on an A-Bolt, but the only one we can find is a micro in 300wsm. Hes about 5'11 160lbs and left handed.

Is the micro a youth gun or just a smaller version of a reg. A-Bolt? Is the accuracy affected any because of the shorter barrel length?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and yall have a Merry Christmas!

I have two of the Browning Micro's,22Hornet and the 243WSSM. The Micro is a smaller a bolt, but dont let the size fool you! If you can hold it,it's a tack driver!

The micro is basically an youth, ladies, or smaller statured person. They are same action (short), but with shorter barrel, and about 1" less length of buttstock. If he's 5'11", I'd get him an a-bolt as the micro stock will likely be too short for him.

I've got one coming for my wife in 7mm-08. She is thrilled. Go for it.
