savage weather warrior, stainless or plated?

Does anybody know whether the Savage Weather Warriors barrel is stainless steel or just plated with stainless?

Barrel, action and bolt is stainless, not nickle plated. I had one, and I currently own a savage ML which is also SS.

I went to the savage site the other day and saw they have upgraded their horrible plastic stocks, this year , which was why I sold mine. Make sure you get a late 08' production model w/ the new sturdier stocks w/ the better recoil pad.

Thanks for the info. I ordered one last week from the gun shop and its supposed to be here tommorrow. Its the 116fhsak in 30-06. I'll bet I get the old stock since I didn't know any better and I'm sure his supplier will ship out the old model, kind of clean out the old model. If I'd have known this then I would have specified the accur stock. I just figured this is what they've always had.
The question about stainless or plating was because my brother thought they were probably plated and their site really doesn't say.
