Default Anyone heard of a gun with no trigger?

I was talking to a guy today and he was telling me how some guy he knew had a old single shot .22 with no trigger. He couldn't remember the brand or model number but said he was going to try to find out next time he saw the guy. He really wants to get one. Anyway, he said it didn't have a trigger it was like somehow you bumped the back of the bolt or something. That's how it sounded to me anyway from how he was explaining it. Any of you guys ever heard of one of these? Anyone know who makes them, what they are worth, and if there are any places to look to find one? Thanks guys.

I've never heard of anything like that. Unless he's talking about a bang-stick. But there has to be some kind of trigger to release the firing pin to strike the round. Whether it be a finger trigger or something else.

A gun with no trigger.....I think they call it a stick

I have never heard of any rifle without a standard trigger.

It's a Winchester 99 thumb tigger 22 caliber rifle.
