How many rounds?

I was curious to know how many rounds you guys fire through a gun before you clean it? Thanks

If I shoot my rifle at all, I clean it at the end of the day.

Depends on what gun it is. Mycenterfire riflesevery 20-40 rounds. My handguns after every range use(Normally 50-200 rounds per gun). My rimfires every couple hundred rounds. Shotguns are every time they get more then 10 rounds through them. All my guns will get cleaned before any long storage also. Even if i shoot 1 round out of my 22 mag and its gettign put away for a few months it gets a really good cleaning.

I clean mine after target practice at the end of the day or after the hunting season is over. ( in Wi we have a pretty short rifle season) Or if I have done alot of shooting it gets cleaned at the end of the day.

If itwas used that day it gets cleaned that night. An all day session at the range might mean cleaning 8 or 10 guns. I don't mind at all. I turn on the stereo or the T.V. in the garage and the heat if need be and go at it. Ken
