870 Remington Magnum Express Questions

hey folks,
Would it be ok to shoot 3 1/2 inch mag.00 buck shot from my 3 1/2 inch Remington Mag. Express that I use fo rturkey?

a. If so,,what choke would you reccomend..modified or full.?.

b. Any body know what the maximum effective range would be on 3 1/2 inch mag. 00 buckshot?

Yes it is ok. I would go with a mod choke because it seems to pattern better most of the time. A full would be fine also. The max range depends on how your gun shoots with it. I have 2 Mossberg 835's and 1 is about 50 ayrds and the other is 35 yards using the exact same choke tube.

No Problem.

Not as bad a 2 1/4oz no. 4 turkey loads do.
