Default 300 win mag or 25/06 ackley imp?

Ive got to of the best guns ive ever owned and i reload for both of them...but i cant decide which one to deer hunt with? I have a Ruger M77 300 winchester magnum that im shooting 150 grain bullet....and then ive got a 25/06 ackley improved that im shooting 100 grains out of it....can you help me out with it?

the 25-06 AC is a great round, not too much and not too little. I use the 300 win mag and I really like it. I'd go with the 25-06 just because it's different.

Yea i was thinkin about it becuz my 25/06 AC is a laswer beam out to prolly 6-8 hundred yards but ive never shot over 400 with them lol but yea im takin it into consideration

I'd take the .25-06 AI. I'm not a terribly big fan of magnums unless I really have a genuine need for one. Deer definitely do not require a magnum to kill, and since that .25-06 AI, loaded right, is just about as flat shooting as the .300 Win Mag out to all rational ranges (unless you practice a LOT at extreme ranges like Ridge Runner), and the deer won't care one bit about the difference as it'll be just as dead either way. Might as well go with the lighter weight/recoiling round.

I would go with the 25-06, but you really should go with the one you have the most confidence with.

If I have 2 rifles that'll do the same job on deer,I'll opt for the lighter recoiling rifle almost every time-that's just me.
