Default Bergara Barrels

Hope I am not asking too many Encore questions....but....first let me say, I don't handload. I just use whatever factory load seems to work well in that particular gun......

Are the Bergara barrels ok if Im just wanting something to shoot? Theyre garunteed more accurate than the factory barrels, but priced considerably less. Maybe theyre thinking the average joe will get the bargin Bergara barrel and not test side by side with a factory barrel?

Any input and experience with these would be great!

Thanks!

I have a Bergara 270 prohunter barrel and it shoots moa with several different loads. The fit and finish is great. I would buy another Bergara barrel without hesitation.

I found a factory barrel for only $10 more, take away the rebate, and it's $10 cheaper than the Bergara.

I own two Bergara barrels in .223 and .270. The .223 is the most accurate gun I've ever shot, and that's saying a lot. I do shoot handloads through it, but many of my handloads shoot one hole groups at 100 yds. The .270 barrel shoots .75in groups at 100 with factory ammo, and even better with handloads.

Always heard great things, mostly from a few industry people who had the inside scoop. CVA uses these on their Optima bp rifles, and Ive sighted in multiples of those for customers that would go at or darn close to MOA.

If you could get either the Bergara or the T/C factory barrel for about the same price, within a few dollars, which would you choose?
