Default .300 savage clip needed

I've recently recieved an old 760 gamemaster from my grandfather in .300 savage that I would like to use for whitetails this season but unfortantly it is missing the clip. because its been out of production for so long i havn't been able to find a clip for it anywhere, the new 7600/760 clips seat to deep and keep the action locked. i was hoping someone on here might have my magic answer that i can't find anywhere....

Have you checked everywhere online?
The 1st place I would check is www.gunpartscorp.com .

Have you checked your local shops 'spare parts" box or asked them? Checked the on-line auction sites? Checked the various parts suppliers?

thanks for the find maine shooter! i acutally had found that and its kind of a last resort, i dont want a ten shot clip hanging out of my rifle and im not sure if its even legal here in pa. but ill probally order one in case

and i purchased the 308 760 short action clip hoping it would fit but its track is just a tad to long and when finally it seats its so far up the feed lips hit the action. its looking like im going to take it to a smith and try to get that altered as ridge runner suggested. i have one lady who only deals withclipsgoing through her warehouse tonight and calling me in the morningso ill keep my fingers crossed

thanks for all the help and if anyone stumbles into the clip please let me know
