I'd put it at 2 1/2 inches high at 100 yards. That ought to put the bullet between 3 or 4 inches low at 300 yards.

Without knowing the bullets flight path, it is a shot in the dark. What if at 2 1/2" high at 100 you are 5 or more inches high at 150 yards? Might miss a deer or other small animal if aiming for the sweet spot.

Best thing to do I shot at know distances and see where the bullet ends up.

Before you go tweaking his sight in, ask yourself are you hunting in an area where you will genuinely shoot past the 200 yd mark? Most places that's a negative. And in that instance a dead on 100 yd sight in is ideal. If you WILL shoot out past 200 yds, #40Fan hit the nail on the head. Shoot the rifle at all ranges you plan to actually use it, it will be an eye opening experience. Ballistics tables are great but they are merely a frame of reference, statistics almost.....

Using the Win chart, looks to me like if you adjusted to hit +3" @ 100, it would still be +3" @ 200, about dead on at 250, and about -2.5" or so at 300. That is, if the gun you use gives close to the same MV the factory got when preparing their chart..... BUT as .25MOA said, "Ballistics tables are great but they are merely a frame of reference, statistics almost..... " IF possible, shooting it at a number of different distances is indeed a good idea!
