Default Question About The Armalite M15A2 .223??

Has anyone here ever owned one or own one now? How do you like it? Is it a decent shooter. I'm not getting one for hunting, I'm getting it for home protection. Just wondering what your thoughts were on this particular gun before I pull the trigger and make the deal.

Thanks Bryan

Colorado,

I've had three AR and the armalite I had was the most finicky about the ammo it would eat. Only like premium american ammo. Other than that it did fine.

I've got a custom AR and love it, but for home defense, a shotgun is pretty hard to beat.

Great weapon, all I got to say is, invest into a M68 Aimpoint (for fun reflex shooting) have it properly bore sighted and then get a jug full of CLP, those weapons can get awful dirty really quick... Oh and go ahead and invest into a decent magazine... The stand 30 round magazines blow!

Ditto what no_skill said, get good mags or just upgrade 'em with the Magpul follower and spring kits. Turns crappy mags into winners....
