Default Nikon buckmaster 3-9x40

Anyone have any experience with this scope, i was thinking of buying one at wal-mart and mounting it on a model 70 270 wsm.The price is right at $200 at wal-mart.

Save your money a little longer if you have to and get a nikon monach.Look through them both side by side and you will see what I mean. There is a world of difference between the two. You won' t regret it. I have a monarch ans I love it. it beats the buckmaster hands down. sj

The monarch is a much better scope in my opinion. I' m not happy with the buckmaster I have . The focus on it is very touchy .

I have a buckmaster also. I don' t care for it either. The eye relief is so critical that it hard to fing and hold the full view. Scheels takes trade ins on scopes and I am going to swap it for a Swift that I looked at over there. I also think the Monarch is a great scope. I am however on a tighter budget than that and the Swift is 119.00.
