Default I got a new 10/22

I went out today and bought a Ruger 10/22 with a Simmons scope. It is awesome. I can' t wait to go out and shoot it. I was wondering if anyone has some larger clips than 10 rounds. 10 rounds is fine, but i go through them too fast. I am thinking about getting a couple 25 round clips for it. I was thinking about getting one 50 round clip, but i heard that thats when the gun starts to jam. Thanks for any imput anyone has. Can' t wait till i can go out and shoot.

Congrats on the 10/22! They are by far the best semi-auto 22 on the market today. If you want a hi-cap mag, your gonna have to pay a pretty penny due to the AWB and Brady Bill. A 25 or 30rd mag will run you between $30-60. A 50rd mag will run you about $100. I have a 30rd mag, and they are fun as hell to shoot. But they generaly cost too much.

Congrats on your new Ruger. You choose probably the best 22 semi auto on the market today.Like already mentioned. If yiou want Hi Cap mags be prepared to grab your billfold. On Ebay it' s not permitted to sell them there but on occasions one slips through. If you choose to buy some make sure it' s legal in your state to even own them. You probably won' t fine a better magazine then the original factory ones.

In the high cap mags the butler creek is a good one and the mitchell drums are good . I would advise against the Eagle mags because all of them I tried would jam half the time . Congrats on your new 10-22

make sure you get the clips with steel loading lips not plastic, they will last you the lifetime of your gun, the plastic ones will chip and fall apart.
