Default XDM and M4 questions.

Anybody have an XDM? I'm humoring getting one and now they have the 9mm 19+1. Any thoughts on the value of 3 extra rounds and a bit less power or is the power worth 3 rounds less?

Also: Is there a major difference in M4 manufacturers? I'm guessing there is a difference but I also know that there are people that know far more about this stuff than I do.

Thanks!

I don't have an XDM but I have handled on and it is sweet. Its much like the regular XD with a few upgrades. The 19+1 is cool but will be heavy, I have a 17+1 for my 9 and usually put a 10 round clip in it if I am taking it out of the house.

There is NO way I would willingly choose 9mm over .40s&w or .45acp if I had open choice and was not issued to me! Why waste more rounds than you need to stop "bad guy"? Also, later in court,it'll look worse on you if you shoot multiple times instead of just1 or 2.

Interesting point on the court part of it. I agree with you. Thanks for the input.
