T/C encore

I have recently had a few misfires with my T/C Encore rifle, It is chambered for .300 WinMag. It seems like the firing pin does not hit the primer hard enough, On a 2nd try it always fires. Is this an ammunition issue or gun problem? All works perfectly with the 22-250 barrel.

Try a different box of ammo from a different lot# and see if it continues. If it does its the gun if not its ammo.
