Default Browning A bolt 300 WSM

Just curious if anyone shoots one and if so what kind of ammo are you shooting? Also what kind of groups are you getting with your ammo.

I have a Browning A-bolt in 300WM w/Boss and I love it. However I ahve not measured the groupings ever, was never into that, but now I might . I do know that if I did my part I could get them all touching each other for 3 shots. I haven't had time in over a year to head out to the range due to work and other issues, but plan on getting out soon, can't wait to shoot her again ...

I bought a new Browning A -bolt Classic 300 wsm .
I shoot the Fusion 165 and 180 gr. in it .
I zeroed it in for 200 yds. because I went on a big wt trip a couple years a go when I bought it ,
Shoots great average 3.5 in groups .

Tracker - I have two A bolt rifles. One in 7-08 and one in 325 WSM. And if either of these or any one of my other rifles would shoot a 3.5" group they would be sitting on a used gun rack somewhere. Heck, my Marlin 1895 Guide Gun 45-70 shoots better than 3.5" groups.
If you're happy with the way your's shoots that's OK. But if I were you, I would seriously consider either having someone else shoot it and it their groups are similar, I would advise getting some accuracy work done with them - like maybe a rebedding job.
All reports I've seen from 300 WSM owners show really good accuracy.

bronko22000,
My fingers are all thumbes on this darn lap top computor .
It should had been 1.5 inch groups .
I do better but I just wanted to give an average .
I,m satisfied the way it shoots .
When I get tired I tend to push the wrong keys ..LOL......
I just ordered a new 270 wsm Browning short action .
I,m pretty happy with the Fusion ammo so far .
I,ll see how they work in my new gun soon ,

read the new Outdoor Life article by Jim Carmichael, the whole grouping thing on an average deer rifle gets way too scrutinized, if you cant get 1" groups thing makes me want to puke[:'(]
