Browning abolt 338 with scope!!

I have been offered this gun for trade on some bino's.I have never bought from someone before .Always from gun shop.He told me he would have to ship it to a gun shop is this right.I want to sell the gun once I get it so sometell me the process of this please.Im a bowhunter plus I have a 300mag so I dont want another gun.it has a simmons scope on it 2x10x40.Im going to sell it for$775 .It cost around $900+for everything.Someone give me some answers please. Oh it has the synthetic stock plus the blued barrel!!

The gun would have to be shipped to a FFL and he would then run a background check on you to release the gun. You can call around and find a FFL and see what they would charge. If you sell the gun to someone else then they would have to provide you with a copy of their FFL dealer and you would have to ship it to the dealer. Face to face does not require a FFL.
