Default Savage MK2 extractor problems

I love this little rifle it shoots well and has killed a bunch of "tree rats" I can't count the number of rounds I've put thru it both hunting and plinking.Recently however it has developed a nasty habit of not extracting the spent round, not every time but often enough to make it really annoying.Has anyone else had this problem?Possible solutions?Should I just live with it?

Well Ridge Runner I have done that repeatedly and still the problem persists,I'm thinking I'll just live with it just have to make sure not to miss cause follow ups can be a little slow. Thanks for the advice tho I was starting to think my post was invisible.

KORAK,
I hear tell,if you contact Savage Arms, they will send you a replacement extracter[sp] ! It is not an uncommon problem,on the 22's. Let me know how you make out,on this.
