Most of the safes on the market are good. The only thing I would do different would be to buy a bigger one. They usually hold about 2/3 of the guns that they say they do without having the guns rubbing on each other.

I' ve had a Pro Steel for several years and proved to be very high in the security catagory. I had a hoodlum try getting in to it. Sheared the sheer pin off and broke the dial and it still kept him out.I believe the new Browning' s vaults are made by Pro Steel. The only thing I don' t like about my PS is it' s not fireproof.Thay do make fireproof models.I also agree buy one bigger then you need. They seem to shrink very quickly........

I have an American Security fireproof safe. It is great. I agree, most manufacturers make a good safe. Get one that you can get a good deal on, and definitely get a bigger one than you think you will need. They fill up fast, and don' t hold as much as you think they would.
