does anyone know whattype themuzzle brake threads are on it.i plan on shooting 50 grain bullets in it. is there different rates of twist with the gun or are the barrels the same in .223. im thinking of a 1:14 twist if they have it. i looked on some sites and thats what they had when they were shootin 50 gr.

I think its an 8 twist, 8's do really well with bullets from 40 gr on up, and you can shoot 80 gr a-max's and really stretch the range ( Jerry Teo from LRH.com has a 223 that he shoots 1 mile with which groups under MOA at 1760 yards)
My personal RRA varminter is an 8 twist, I shoot ultr-max reman 55 gr sp's in it, its shot alot of groups in the .2's.
Don't worry about too fast of a twist, you can't overstabilize a bullet, or spin the jacket off modern 22 cal bullets in a 223, but with a 14 twist the heaviest bullet you could stabilize would be a 50 gr.

Always try as many as you can and see whats groups the best.

I shoot ultra max reman in all my 223's (5 of them) it shoots good in them all, they are 8, 9, 10, and 12 twist, cheapest hunting ammo I can find and shoots as good as blackhills. lots of different loads available from the 50 gr BT to the 69 gr SMK.

Not many people would bother even checking,since a muzzle brake really offers nothing on a heavy weight .223.

And you probably want the rifle because it is a "tactical " rifle.
