Default Hi I'm new...Mossberg rifle?

Hi all, I'm new, just registered. Don't hate me, but golf is my favorite sport, HOWEVER, today I took the first steps to buying my first gun.

Many, many, many years ago I went to a camp, and like your typical camp they had a little .22 rifle range. Well most of the .22 rifles there were just some cheap off brand rifles. Well this one councelor brought his own .22 to let us shoot. It was his grandpa's and when I held it, it was THE most comfortable rifle that I've ever held. All I knew at the time was that it was an O.F. Mossberg and Sons .22 rifle.

It had a little pistol grip toward the end of the barrel which made it a dream to hold. Anyways, I FINALLY found one after years, and years of looking!

So the place that is selling it is holding it for me, while I get a gun license etc. I had no clue as to how to go about getting a gun.

I believe I'm getting a Mossberg 152k rifle. I'm so excited! I might have to put the golf clubs away for awhile.

Sorry for the newbie story, I look forward to reading up and learning from all of you!

I know of a few Mossbergs that are extremely accurate. BTW we won't hate you for being a golfer. Golf clubs make great shooting sticks if you tie 2 together.
Welcome
