Default Misplaced Boresight

Do not leave your boresight in the gun when shooting!

I hope the person is OK but...... how exactly do you leave a big-ole pink chunk of aluminum in the endof the barrel and not notice it before you pull the trigger?

Just goes to show you that just one second of not being focused can be dangerous - even deadly - when handling and shooting firearms. Was probably distracted, bore sight may have flipped around and was down and the poor guy never noticed it.
I guess we will never know how good a job he did.

Last weekend at the range someone misplaced mine for me. I took it out of my buddy's .243 and put it on the table so I could shoot. There lots of other guys there. Later, we went down range to change targets. After we finished, we began to pack up and I noticed the boresight was gone. Bastards.
