Am a sako fan owning a 7mm-08, 7mm rem mag nd a 375 h&h nd am based in zambia, africa. Does any1 know if i can get a sako .223, .222 or a 22-250 in a bull barrel nd muzzle break? I wud also like to hear frm people who own a sako quad as am interested in ordering 1 nd wat is your opinion generaly on sako guns. Thnx

I've had a couple sakos and my current is a stiff barrel .223. I am not aware of any factory models with a muzzle break in these mild rounds. The recoil is negligible as is, and muzzle blast is modest. If you went to a 22 250, recoil would be amusing. Mine works like butter.

Yeah I have a few Sako 75"™s and so happen to have the Sako Quad as well. I like my 22 WMR Quad and have no regrets with it. I had to try some different brands of ammo and came up with two that gave me very good groups at 100 yards. I like the synthetic stock and on how it balances. Nice little rifle to carry around. The bolt action is solid and works very well. I was able to get some 9 round magazines when I go out for varmints. This rifle is designated as a 22 WMR and I have no plans on getting other barrels...
