I think you should spend a little more and get a 870, or a Nova. If for no other reason than resale value. I have never owned a Daly but I hunt doves ever year with a guy that has one for himself and his 2 boys. I have never heard them complain and they kill a lot of doves.

I had the tactical pump model and liked it better than the 870. That was mainly because the Daly is very light and sometimes I had to carry mine around most of the day. The receiver is made of aluminum, and some people don't like that, but I never had a problem.

Thanks to those who replied to me on the Charles Daly.I just bought a Remington 870 Wingmaster new in 20 gauge and my 7 year old son has a hard time holding it up for the weight of it and mainly the stock is just to long for him. That is why I am strongly thinking of getting the Daly youth model pump for him in 20 gauge for squirrel hunting with synthetic stock and it only weighs 5 pounds with a lifetime warranty also for 211.00 dollars. With the synthetic stock scratches wont be a problem as he learns to handle a gun.Once again thanks to all who answered as I appreciate it. Thanks,Mike
