Default 6.5 Creedmoor from Hornady

This looks like a great little round. Does anyone here have some realtime experience with it?

No experience with it, but its one of the few new cartridges that I can get excited about. The biggest advantage to the cartridge is not its ballistics- they are pretty much identical to other 6.5s out there, but the actual factory load is printed ont he box and can be easily duplicated.

A writer on another board did an article on it in Shotgun News a few months back. I'll try to find the link.

I've been very tempted to build an AR-10 in 6.5 Creedmore. I think there's a dead heat between the 6.5 Creed and 7mm-08 in terms of really capitalizing on the 308win case, I've handled a few 6.5 bolt guns and loved them, but would love to have one on an AR-10 platform, just to say I did.

I wanted one forever, ordered it 1 1/2 years ago. I finally got a DPMS 6.5 Creedmoor this spring and it is a short mag dream! 800yds with the 140 A MAX is no prob bud.

I hear good comments from guys that shoot long range competitively, that it's a soft shooting .338 Laupa.

Kinda like the new flat shooting 26 Nosler.

A buddy of mine in Utah has the DPMS in 6.5 and loves it ,shoots 1000 yards with it. I'd love to have one.
