The Bushnell 3200 Elite or Burris Fullfield ll are both good low light scopes that in 3x9x40 configuration sell for $150-180.Decent lenses, full lifetime warranties, and bright scopes.Stepping up to $250-325 will get you a Leupold VX ll, Bushnell Elite 4200,or Nikon Monarch. These would all be excellant quality with good lenses in the Leupold and great lenses in the Nikon and Elite. The Weaver Grand Slam is also a great scope for the money too.Happy scope hunting,go where you can see and hold several of these in your hand and ask if you can look out the door at things right as dusk falls and your eyes will quickly tell you which one works best for you.Make sure they are focused to your eyes( the new euro style eye piece focus is REAL nice)you' ll see it on the burris some of the elites and the monarch.

I had the same situation I was looking for a new scope and talked to my uncle that puts simons on all his rifles, so i bought one for $150, it has a attachment that goes on the end of it to stop light glaring in the scope. Good scope if you want to know more get ahold of me.

I would also choose the elite 3200 for an affordably priced scope.

WHAT TYPE OF SCOPE DO YOU WANT? WHAT TYPE OF FIREARM WILL IT BE PLACED ON? TYPE OF GAME YOU WILL BE HUNTING? I HAVE A NIKON BUCKMASTER 3-9X40 ON MY .50 CAL MUZZLELOADER, I AM VERY PLEASED WITH IT. ITS CLEAR, CRISP, RELIABLE, ALL FOR $200.00. ITS NO ZEISS, OR LEUOPOLD I HAVE THEM ALSO, BUT FOR THE MONEY ITS GREAT.

I' ll cast one more vote for the Bushnell 3200 as being a very good scope for the money.

I' ll throw in one more to consider- Swift. For around $150 you get all the do-dads of the big name scopes, lifetime warranty, and excellent optics. Swift is a very underated, unknown maker of fine binos and scopes. Check them out.

My first pick would be a Leupold VX l and then a Swift. I had a Bushnell 3200 that the crosshairs broke after 30-40 shots with my .300 Weatherby...[]

Bushnell 3200 gets a vote here too. I think PAjacks crosshair breakage is an exception rather than the norm. The 3200 has very good lense quality at a very good price. Bushnell/Baush and Lomb' s warranty is excellent too. Last year I sold a ton of these scopes with zero complaints.
