I have one in the 22 WRM. I shot a number of different brads till I found the one it like, well really it was two. I was able to achieve just under 1" groups at 100 yards with the preferred rounds...

Haven't ran across many Sako's that didn't shoot. If you bought one and had accuracy problems I am sure they would help you correct it. You get what you pay for, and you pay for Sako's.

handloader1,

I am looking at buying a Sako rim fire but trying to figure out which caliber. 17 or 22?????

I have three high powered SAKO's. 270 win, 7mm-08 Finnlight and 308 Finnlight. They are all tack drivers. Everything I reloaded for them they like. I believe you can't go wrong with the rim fire Sako. Heck the trigger is just as good as the center fire rifles.

I found some listed with single barrel choice on Gun Brokers and Auction Arms for $420.00. These are brand new in the box. Simply unbelievable considering just two to three years ago one with single barrel they were $800.00.

Have you found anythen $420???

I tell you what I would rather buy the four individual guns then the Quad setup. You would get more for your money.

I looked at the ballistics and I am leaning toward the 17 HMR. The 17 Mach 2 is almost 500 fps slower than the HMR.

I will probably order mine early next week.

I found one with all four barrels for $1300.00. I would like one to round out the bottom of my collection. Good luck.
