Springfield Armory 45 Compact Pistol

Just wondering if any one has any experience
here with the 1911 45 compact from Springfield
and what are the things you like about it and
also any thing you also do not like about it.

While I've had limited exposure to the compact models,I've seen/shot several springfield pistols and all I've seen are A1 in quality/finish and required only minor fitting to get match accuracy. Remember-these was intended to be fully customized anyway in full size and ALL functioned 100% beforeAND after. The factory springfields are almost equal of kimber or my personal favorite-para ordnance.

I've used the sa GI 1911 many times.. I think it is a very good gun. never had the chance to use the subcompact
