Default molley bullets

Is it true molly coated bullets are bad for your barrel or require special cleaning?

Default RE: molley bullets

There is no data to say Moly bullets are bad or good or anything else. There is a common belief that Molly coated bullets cause the reduced need to clean barrels.....I' d never tell anyone that but I' m not a benchrest fanatic either.

The Molybdenum powder is terribly toxic and I' d never use it for hunting an animal I want to eat such as a deer.

I shoot a whale of a lot of prairie dogs every year and Moly coated doesn' t show anything positive to me....if it a good thing it' s extremely remote!!
