Default My new rifle

Well, I finally did it. I broke down and bought a new Ruger 30-.06 yesterday. Wooohoo. I will be mounting a Burris Fullfield 2 scope on it. With the exception of my shotgun, all the guns I have ever used have been family guns. That isn't bad though. I love the guns I have used...especially my .308 Mossberg butthis newRuger is all mine.

Sounds like the set up I used to have except in 300WM. That Burris scope with the ballistic plex is really great and it really works.

Congrats on the new rifle. I have a Ruger All Weather M77 with the boat paddle stock in 30-06. You made a good choice.

Congrats on the Ruger...it's a keeper. FFII scopes are pretty decent too. Good choices.

That combination is a winner in any hunting camp. Ruger makes a solid rifle and the ol 06 has been getting it done for over 100 years.

Ruger in an 06 is about as dependable and proven a combination as you can get. Burris makes fine tough scopes also.
