Mossberg doesn't make a rifled slug barrel with open sights for the 500 or any other gun, they all come with scope mounts. You might find an old one..maybe, but I've had a 500 for years and I've never seen one but perhaps some aftermarket company makes them. if you want one bad enough it will run you about $125-150. and I would dig on Google for it.

Three of usbought new Mossberg500combos with the syn. stock and forarm, camo, new about 15 yrs or more ago. The year they came out. They came with three choke tubes , a 28 in shot gun barreland a smooth bore deer slugbarrel with rifle open sites. I hunted Ducks, Turkey. and Dove with it. I still use it every year. This is the best shoot gun I have owned, I just recamo it every couple years with a new coat of spray paint. These were even sold at Walmart.

They do exist(used) andMossberg used to sell nothing but open sighted slug-barrelsbut with the popularity of scope mounts, they switched over and stopped producing them at that point.
If you dig on Google though, you might find one.

I have the combo set and it came with the integral scope mount slug barrel. As I prefer open sights in the woods for faster target aquisition, I asked the guy at the gun shop years ago and he saidthey only came in smoothbore.
