Default beretta, broke choke!

hey guys,
i bought the beretta extema 2 last year i shot the gun durring dove season only i probely shot 150 rounds of 7 1/2 game load throught it,
i have the improved cylinder choke in the gun and was droping doves left and right ,well here is the problem i wentto change my choke tube last friday for turkey season and the choke tube was real hard to turn to remove then i noticed a crack in the choke tube.
i played hell getting that craked tube out, when i got it out the choke tube had a crack the whole lenght of it ,
i [put my full choke in and it goes in and out with ease.
has anyone had this problem or know why this happend to my gun?

thanks in advance

The reason I ask is I bought a Beretta semi-auto used last year from some guy who claimed it had a box down the tube and thought he was honest since I see him around. When I really cleaned the gun I thought I had a barrel crack ...sent it into Beretta and they said it was a surface scratch nothing more. I would mail that choke tube to beretta after calling them on the 800 number and demand a new one or a whole new set of chokes for your shotgun for that matter. Unless one is using shot not designed for a particular choke tube then that (crack) shouldn't ever happen.
