Default sticker shock on win. wildcat 22lr

went to an gunshop today to get some wildcat 22lr. I finally ran out of my stock I had for 10yrs.
$35 for a brick of 500 [&:]
I would not let my buddy pay for them who shot most of the fed wally world value pack and owes me some work I did on a pistol.

they shoot the best out of my 96/22 but I can't get myself to pay that for a plinking load. good thing fed. value pack is a close second.

enough of my venting

I was in just as much shock as you were when I paid $28 for a box of 500 federal. Sucks to be a shooter these days. Need a second job just to keep up with the hobby. I use my .22 to keep myself calm when shooting the big guns so I have to have the ammo.

They may shoot good out of your gun but mine hates them. Will not cycle out of the Ruger MKII competion handgun. Mine work really good with Winchester Power Points and they are up tp $36.00 a brick.

Each gun has their like and dilikes. Even if it is the same make and model of gun.

they are what I am going to they are pretty good out of mine too. but I am going to also pick up some other that are under $20 and try them. I am in 22lr testing now.

sorry about the pic it was off for some reason. but the one ragged hole under the nickel was the wild cats. the decent group on the left where federal value pack at 25 yards. mine thing I was working on was my tc new englaner ML (the 3 or 4 larger holes)

the 3 larger holes again are from my ML (very happy). one the right from inside the 10 to the 8 federal value pack below cci mini mags and a some older win. HPs. once again this was at 25yrds because of ML work.

the ML holes way off from the group where out of clean barrels.
