which shotgun do you prefer a 10,12,16,20,28,410 gauge

Im just wandering what do you prefer a 10, 12, 16, 20, 28, 410 gauge? I like a 20 gauge Then a 12, I hate a 410 not enough power. Tell me what do you prefer. I just wandering what do you prefer not what you prefer to use it for and please no compareing " oranges and apples" . Please.

That is like compairing aples and oranges. They have different uses. I like a 410 for squirrels and rabbits and a 20 for about everything else.

it feels good taking a Pheasant,Squirrel or Rabbit with a single shot 410.Teaches you not to make mistakes. Too bad I didn' t learn to well. Have Fun and Play Safe

I much prefer .410' s, basically because that' s what I' ve hunted with all of my life, and they do just as well on the game I hunt as any 20ga I' ve ever used. I use 3" shells in .410, and only 2.75" in 20ga and 12ga. Tell ya what would be a lot of fun, if a winchester would ever make a win 9410 in 3" chamber, I' m buyin it!! I shoot a .410 single shot that was my grandpas when he was my age, I' m pretty sure it was his dad' s too, I' ve never noticed more " winged" birds or " rolled" bunnies with it than with a 20ga. I had a pump, a semiauto, and a couple bolt actions in .410, but had to sell them, basically because I needed money and didn' t need the guns. Only pitfall of .410' s is that they aren' t legal for geese and ducks (not that I' d use them on geese anyway) and the shells cost a bit more.

I put a pistol grip on my single shot for a while, and then my buddies really got mad when I still out shot them with it!!!

I do alot of duck hunting, so for me the 12 is the only option. I belive it also does better on pheasants. I use it for grouse, but I concede that a 20 gauge might be better. Since I don' t use a shotgun for squirrels (I think the only way to hunt them is with a .22), the 410 is a non factor for me.
