Default One more Re-Finishing job

Hope I'm not boring you all but wanted to share one more re-finishing job I did this winter.

This is Marlin model 81 that was in desperate need of attention. The stock was worn and dirty and the barrel had almost no bluing left. The trigger guard was plastic with some small cracks developing around the screw holes.

Like my other re-finishing jobs a striped, blasted, and re-finished both the metal and wood.I also scrounged some 1/2" aluminum plate and made a new trigger guard.
