Default New toy...me too

I finally got it. It was ordered (and paid for) 7 months ago. Just picked it up last week. What is it? A Cooper Jackson Hunter in one of my favorite calibers, 25/06. Scoped it with a Swaro AV 3.5-10 X 42 in Talley rings and bases. I think it looks great (but, of course, I'm biased). I don't have my pics on photobucket or anywhere else so I can't post a pic...unless one of you kind folks would post it for me if I e-mailed pics to you. hint hint. Anyway, I'll be going to the range soon for sure. Isn't life grand!

I love Cooper rifles. I am sure you will love hunting & shooting this rifle. You made a great choice on the rifle, rings & scope.

The un-scoped rifle is about 7.5 lbs. They had a price increase this year, so I actually got it for $200 less than you can now. I'm looking forward to some range time for sure. Originally I had selected a nice wood stocked version (with some upgrades) but I changed the order to this one. I was afraid it might become a safe queen... to purty to use for fear of dinging it up. Glad I switched. The stock has a full length bedding block and the trigger slips in just under 3 # (can be lightened if so desired). Anyway, I'm definately a happy camper now. Thanks all.

I have a few Cooper's myself so I am a bit biased too, they are nice rifles. Your 25-06 ought to make you happy for a long time. I notice you chose to go with Talley's, they are rock solid for sure. Congrats on your new toy

Very nice rifle. I like the looks of that stock and good choice for a scope. Enjoy shooting. I know I would...
