Picked up a BERETTA 92EL

found me a never fired beretta 92el nra95 near mint with only2 tiny nicks in it for $750!
its 1 of 500 and it only came with a blue plastic box and that it!
so, did i get a good deal, and should i take it to the range and break it in, or put it away in a fancy box and just show it off?
