From what I have heard, they are good scopes. I have a friend that has a Rem PSS with the SA scope on it and he says that it is good. As far as the price goes look on the net to see how bad or good it is.

A couple of the guys I shoot long distance with have a few of them. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE some of the features such as lighted reticle, mil dots, and the built in level.
BUT in side by side comparisions to 6.5 x 20 leupolds, the SA scopes fail miserably in light transmitting abilities, and clarity. FWIW, I just recently put together another long range rifle set-up. I chose a 8.5 x 25 leupold w/ target knobs over the SA scopes. I added an aftermarket level to the tube for $30 bucks and I couldnt be happier!
