I searched the forum and I am unable to find anything relating to Buffalo Bore ammo. Does anybody have exprience with the BB .357 158g ammo rated at 1475 FPS (4" barrel)? Thanks.

Buffalo Bore are very hot ammo.My friend and I shot some 340 gr .44 mags and his scope sheared off his contender. My Dan Wesson shoots them fine.

I have used them in my 444 Marlin and they are FULL power loadings.

Actually, they are loaded heavier than any other brand as far asI know. Even Garrett 45-70 and 44 magare not loaded as heavy.

They are fine, any decent revolver wont have any problems. I've used that very same load to take 3 whitetails with my 6" ruger gp100. As accurate as any load I've tried in it around 3-4" at 50 yds.(probably limited by my shooting). I would say that it still isn't an "ideal" deer load. Had to move up to a 44 this year because I prefer a bigger hole for blood. Dont get me wrong they kill fine and quick, but not too much of a blood trail. Of the three I shot, only one had a decent blood trail. The other two were found by searching the woods for a couple hours, even though none went more than 75 yards.

I would also say that of all the available 357 ammo, it is by far the best for hunting.
