Default Shine?

Is there any way to remove the shine of the laminated stock without harming the stock?

Darn, I thought this was going to be about something made in the KY hills!

Actually, the easyiest way is to use a 00 or 000 rubing compound and hand rub. This will dull the finish.

I have a Weatherby Sporter, and the stock has a gloss finish. One time when I was hunting I sprayed some " H.S. Scents Scent-A-Way Spray Human Scent Neutralizer" on my self, and some got on the stock and took the gloss away. After the hunt, I removed the spray with furniture polish, and my stock looked as glossy as before. Good luck.
