Default What does the AVG Rifle cost?

Just wondering what the avg man wants to spend on a rifle? I hear guys say how much more a remington is than a ruger etc.....and I think aren't they $100 apart or something like that? I just dont think $100 or 200 difference in a rifle that you like way more is much of a decision. In your opinion, what is the avg rifle cost?

Ruger, Remington, Browning, Tikka, and Savage all have basic models in or about the $600 to $800 range. Some models are little less, some a little more. To each his own on what to spend, most (maybe all) of us own one of these rifles andI think that these manufacturers have pretty much figured out that this is the price range that most people are willing to spend.
